I was responsible for leading all aspects of business as the general manager with full P&L responsibility. I grew UnsubCentral revenues 10x over 2.5 years while increasing margin the entire time with the help of a dedicated team of great people. As the company grew, I grew the staff from 3 to 15 during my tenure. I also positioned UnsubCentral as a thought-leader in the industry, helping author major shifts in how email suppression lists, required for compliance with the CAN-SPAM Act of 2003, are used by the industry though my membership in the ESPC and the IAB. I spoke on UnsubCentral's behalf at numerous events including Affiliate Summit, MAAWG, AOTA, EEC events, AustinIMA, DFWIMA, etc. Lastly, I had a blast building a great team and a great company. Easily my favorite "job" ever, well, except for maybe when I was getting to shoot big bullets out of a tank when I was in the Army.

Coolest job I've ever had. I was an Armor Officer, with responsibilities ranging from training, feeding, caring for, and leading a dynamic group of individuals in preparation for the defense of our country. I got paid to shoot 120mm bullet at targets 2 miles away from a 70 ton mobile platform... and got to work with some of the best people I've ever worked with.
